Ferrari has launched a special edition of the 296 Speciale called Piloti Ferrari, aimed exclusively at customers who race with the brand’s cars.

This version is intended for drivers who participate in official races or track events organized by Ferrari, such as models from the Challenge, XX line, or the new 499P Modificata. Having money is not enough; you need to have a track record with a Ferrari car.

Visually, the Piloti Ferrari stands out by offering new paint options, such as Rosso Scuderia, Argento Nürburgring, Nero Daytona, and Blu Tour De France, all with yellow stripes in homage to the 499P winner of Le Mans. The car also features details like the hand-painted WEC logo, the Italian flag on the front bumper, and the race number chosen by the owner.

The interior is also customized with black Alcantara seats and fire-resistant fabric similar to racing suits. There are also carbon fiber elements and an exclusive identification plate.

Ferrari has not disclosed the official price, but the special version will certainly cost more than the $450,000 of the standard model. It is estimated that fewer than a thousand people worldwide meet the criteria to buy it.
